Jean Orgonasi is a strategic advisor at Expon Capital.
A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de la rue d’Ulm with a doctorate in physics, Jean has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. At BNP Paribas Assurance, he developed the individual loan insurance business, establishing a new market leader in France. He also managed operations in 14 countries and led Cardif’s global provident business, overseeing activities in the United Kingdom and the United States.
In 2013, Jean co-founded Digital Insure, a company specializing in digital solutions for borrower insurance and individual protection. Under his leadership, Digital Insure became a market leader, operating across the entire loan insurance and personal protection value chain with a strong technological focus. In 2022, he sold his stake to the Odealim group during Ardian’s acquisition of a stake in the company.
Beyond his corporate roles, Jean is actively involved in promoting innovation in the insurance sector and mentoring emerging startups. He has participated in events such as the Paris Fintech Forum, sharing insights on digital transformation in insurance.
